Dancing

Rarotonga and the other Cook Islands are known to have the best dancers in the Pacific. And they seem to be proud to show their dancing skills. Dressed in skirts from Hibiscus-bast, flowers and jewelry, they dance to music done by singing, ukuleles, guitars, or naked drums.

The girl on the left has won the price of the best female dancer on Rarotonga, and she is joining a dance-group from Cook Islands that has just visited Canada to present the islands in order to have more Canadians visit the Islands.
